Top Five

My friend, Jesse, has a great music site called quickcrit, where he and a group of regular contributors post pithy reviews of their favorite music in hopes of answering the question: why should you bother listening? I was a bit intimidated, but ultimately pretty excited to join the cool kids over there and add my Summer Short List (or, as Jesse put it: “five things that rocked [my] socks in the last six months,” anything music-related) to the bunch. I’m feeling more motivated than ever to keep current.
