Guest Post: Will at Bright Bazaar

We’ve asked a few friends and fellow-bloggers to drop-in and share while we take some time to get to know this amazing little person, Hudson, whom we’ve just welcomed to the world. We’ll no doubt be dropping in here and on babymine.net from time to time, but we’re so grateful for these wonderful guest posts and hope you enjoy them as well.

Will is the man behind the always inspiring Bright.Bazaar–and you very well might recognize him from his columns for Rue Magazine or Sweet Paul (among others), where his knack for color stands out. I wasn’t surprised at all to see that Will’s personal travels are just as lovely and inspiring. Corfu is now high on our list of places to visit as a family…

Hello! It’s Will from Bright.Bazaar here and I’m delighted to be filling in for Ashley and Aron as they welcome their first baby into the world (how exciting!). I’m a Prop Stylist based in London and I blog daily about interiors, styling and lifestyle.
When Ashley wrote to me asking me to write about a place I loved to visit as a child, I knew straight off that I would focus on Corfu. My family and I used to visit every summer for a holiday and I cherish the memories from our adventures. We often hired a boat for the day and my father would sail us around the island, in and out of cavernous caves with awe-inspiring rock formations, before we moored up in secluded, little lagoons for a swimming and snorkeling. We ate beautiful meals in traditional Greek tavernas, much like the one seen in the third image – Taverna Agni, then come nightfall (once the temperature was more manageable) we would explore the old towns of the island. I really hope to go back soon and relive some of the adventures of bygone years. In the meantime, I’ll happily settle on this beautiful painting of the Ionian island.
Thanks for having me over, Ashley and Aron.
