Donut proliferation

The New York Times recently published an article describing the myriad, wonderful, inventive donuts taking hold of the city. I hope to try them all–but sometimes all you need is a classic cake donut. For that, Ashley and I like the Donut Pub (a classic in its own right).
Dunkin’ Donuts just doesn’t cut it for me; Tim Horton’s, the Canadian import that’s new to the city falls just shy; and The Doughnut Plant, although incredibly awesome, really belongs in a class of its own. But this place never fails to satisfy. They will heat your donut (a must) on request; no wonder it always seems to have loyal customers at the counter.

Donuts might be in order this weekend.
Hope yours is a good one!
