After narrowly escaping falling branches in the park, and with sneakers that were completely soaked with slush, we rushed into the Met (along with, seemingly, every visitor to the city). Fortunately, the Met was able to absorb us all in its grandness–even if the coat check was overwhelmed.
Great photos! Lovely open space. Also, can I ask you what baby carrier you use? How do like it? I have a 2 month old myself, and I'd like to try baby wearing!
Anna–we have a ring sling from Sakura Bloom (see link in RH column) that was a gift. I used it exclusively while it was hot and then started using the Ergo around 8 weeks. The Ergo with the infant insert is pretty warm, so we still use it even though he could probably do without it now. In one photo, Aron is wearing the Ergo. I have the sling on in the others. He loves both and falls asleep in them easily. However, we had to work a little to get him to like the stroller…
I was just at the Met a few weeks ago. It had been awhile since the last time I'd been. It was SO crowded, but totally worth it. And, for some reason, before this particular visit, I'd never been on the roof! What amazing views!

xo, Anna of (green gable)
seems like the perfect escape during that frightful snow!

Congratulations!
Beautiful shots! Oh man- when it rains or snows museums are always the first to be filled to capacity.

We're overdue for a Met visit. I always get inspired by the period rooms. -RS
