Progress

by Aron on May 3, 2011

Spring marches on, and Ashley is all aflutter over the asparagus that has just appeared at the greenmarket; I have to admit, it’s pretty wonderful. And I know I wasn’t the only one who emailed her this article in the New York Times. Speaking of progressing, Ashley posted a week-27 photo on baby mine. I think we are alternately getting used to, and surprised by, her growing belly.

I think you may have inadvertently created a new photography subgenre: people who look like their produce.

Lovely blog!

Hehe. Every recipe I've been making lately has asparagus. Gotta get it while you can!

Tonight? Bacon, Asparagus, and Spinach pasta!

Kind of love that the ramp guy matched his beard to his produce :-)

We grow most of our produce, and while it's AWESOME, I always feel a little jipped that we don't go to the farmers market that often.

HI Ashley and Aron,

I love those photos of the market and all the beautiful spring flowers. Ashley I share your love of Asparagus and in the season often enjoy steamed asparagus dipped in a soft boiled egg, with sea salt and fresh ground pepper for my breakfast, try it, a delicious way to start the day!

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one that gets excited about spring produce :) I see some beautiful ramps there, too :) I just cooked with them for the first time and they are fantastic. What a lovely spot!
