It’s hard to believe that ten years ago (today) Ashley and I started dating–sometimes it seems like hardly any time has passed at all. Though we’ve been married three years, we still like to remember the old “anniversary” date. I had just returned from studying abroad in Australia: I went straight to her house on University Avenue, and we’ve been inseparable ever since.
It has been fun looking back over our old photos together; here is one from a viticulture and oenology class that we took together at UC Davis, the year Ashley graduated.

Me and my boyfriend has the exact same anniversary date! But we only started dating 2 years ago… Today we have celebrated with tapas and some red wine (and talking about how amazing our trip to NYC was earlier this year)!

Thanks everyone! We went for pizza at my favorite place and I made gingerbread cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. It was a great night.
I remember that my dad used to make fun of Aron's sideburns at this time–"so long!"–and I didn't understand why. Ha! They crack me up now! Look at those beasts!
