{view from our apartment}
It’s been a full, fun weekend: we made an exciting purchase for the two of us, saw a good movie, caught a free performance in the park, and spent some time at the beach for a friend’s birthday party (swimming and hiding from a blazing sun–until we had to try to hide from hail and driving rain), but more on all that later.
Today, we’re excited to share our guest post over on Jane’s lovely blog–ill seen, ill said. Jane hosts a series called “Where we blog from.” I know I’ve really enjoyed getting glimpses into others’ spaces; we’re both so flattered to be included this week!

Thank you, both! It's really what sold us on the apartment. We looked at some larger ones, but our view would have been to a brick wall. I can't imagine now.
The weather was crazy this weekend, Will! We practically went swimming just by being caught in passing showers. Good luck with the heat.

Mandie–Thank you! If only there were more than one room; it's actually all the same single room! We have an L-shaped studio. So nice to hear that we were successful in our attempt to sub-divide.
