We spent the weekend finding fun ways to escape the heat, but tonight Ashley and I walked through the village to enjoy the breezes off the Hudson river. We joined the other walkers, lovers, and sightseers, all trying to keep cool, and watched the sun dip out of view–taking photos as it went.

I wish we were on the boat! Though that is on our wish list of activities for this summer, this time we stayed on solid ground and just walked to the end of the pier.
