The weather this Saturday was miserable. The worst. 33 degrees and raining in Manhattan–that’s the kind of nonsense that just pisses me off! Just go ahead and snow already!
Of course it did just that outside of the city. And as we had already made plans to head out of town for the day on Sunday, we got to enjoy it after all. The trees along the Palisades Parkway–the same ones that were ablaze in color what seemed like, oh, yesterday–were now barren and dusted with snow. It was all white powder everywhere! With the sun shining, the parkway looked like it had been doused in silvery glitter. It felt freezing (even in the sun), but the snow was so wonderful! It almost made up entirely for that disgusting weather on Saturday.
